MAGNIFICENT 15TH C. CHIANG SAEN HEAD
My favorite of all the pieces we bought on our last trip. The combination of the proportions, the patination, and the wonderful naturalistic way the bronze has corroded give it a majesty and mystery that really is exceptional for any piece I’ve seen anywhere. I walked in a dealer’s place that was overflowing with items, and couldn't take my eyes off it. The head itself is 8" (20cm) tall, and with the black custom stand it is 11 ¾" (29 cm). It deserves a niche of its own with accent lighting, and it will look magnificent. Price Upon Request.
