19TH C. WOODEN MANDALAY BUDDHA

I love wooden buddhas that have naturally eroded from the elements over the years.  It gives them a soft, deep patination that speaks of the time they have been used.  This lovely Mandalay has a much kinder, softer face.  They usually are pretty expressionless.  Wood with polychrome and lacquer.  Stands 15 inches high.  Long term wear, no damage.
