19TH C. FOLK CAMBODIAN BUDDHA
This piece was traded back for a larger buddha. This is a very powerful primitive figure, and draws very strong reactions from all those who see it. As with some Cambodian and Laotian buddhas, it appears almost African. 16 ¾ inches high, and 6 inches wide. All original paint, no repairs or restoration. For connoisseurs of the folk style. All these years, I have never seen another one like it.
