EXTRAORDINARY CHINESE DREAMSTONE

 Many people are familiar with the black and white Dali marble that is used for furniture, screens, and as paintings.  I had never seen a stone like this before, with all the brilliant colors and form like a Turner landscape.  These stones come from Western China along the Silk Road.  This stone is completely naturalistic and unique;  it has not been painted or retouched in any way.  It has a rough and textured surface, not evident in the picture, which does not do it justice.  Dimensions of the stone are 20 1/2" x 13".
