INK LANDSCAPE SCROLL PAINTING

Painting Dimensions 28 ½”x15 ½”, scroll is 56”x32”. This is an early 20th century painting by the artist Wang Renfu. It was auctioned at Sotheby’s in the 1960’s. There was still a vestigial tag on the end when we bought it from the previous owner. We do not read Chinese, but will be happy to send closeups of the signature and seals for those who may wish to verify it. Skillful and stylish work; not like the junk that one has seen in the last twenty-five years or so.
