18^TH C. BRONZE LAOTIAN BUDDHA

Once in a while we get a piece back in trade for a larger one.  This buddha was previously exhibited in the vetted NY Tribal Antiques Show.  He was one of my favorites; and although I have mixed feelings about selling him again, I think that he can bring  yet another person  great enjoyment.  The combination of the soulful face and the beautifully weathered  burial patina give him great depth and the air of aged wisdom.  9 1/2 inches tall, 11 inches with the custom made base.  There is a small scratch to the base (the wooden one, not the bronze) not visible in the picture.
