SPINACH JADE BI

I love bi's.  They are the simplest of forms, but they let their different materials speak totally for themselves.  They have a naturalistic, calming influence wherever they are placed.   Jade is term used by the Chinese which really encompasses several stones, such as nephrite, jadeite, and bowenite.  This 'spinach' jade example measures slightly over 8" in diameter.  Lovely.

Note:  It comes without a formal stand like the other one for sale, but one can be made if the buyer wishes for about $50-60.  I personally use a stand made out of a coat hanger to keep it upright on the shelf; works fine.
