18TH CENTURY  AVA BUDDHA

A stunning piece of work, with great carving and a great patina.  Lovely form and a sweet smiling face.  It is quite substantial, at 29 inches (72.5cm) high.  The nagin (wings) and finial are removable.  Condition is excellent, with weathering and cracking consistent with age.  A powerful piece that would be a centerpiece for any room.
