19TH CENTURY LAOTIAN CHEDI

An outstanding large pagoda which has great form and powerful presence.  It obviously would have been a temple ornament, because it is too large and grand for a home.  I put a cheap plastic buddha in the niche so that you could visualize what it looks like, but I think it looks just as good if not better without it (photo below).  However, if you have a small favorite buddha, it would be a wonderful place to put it.  It stands 33 inches tall (82 cm).  Patina and condition are excellent.  A real show stopper.
