18TH - 19TH C. KHMER SANDSTONE VOTIVE TABLET

These sandstone tablets are used around temples as commemoratives.  It is impossible to accurately date this piece, but it probably is several hundred years old.  Engraved on both sides in Pali, the ancient Buddhist language.  27 inches high, 30 inches with the stand.  These are stunning works.  We also have a smaller one in a different form.  Very heavy, shipping will be somewhat expensive.
