19TH - 20TH C. BRONZE KINNAREES

Kinnarees are mythological creatures - half human, half bird.  The male is Kinnon and the female is Kinnaree.  According to legend, they live in the Himapan forest in the Himalayas, which is invisible to mortals and beneath heaven.  They are friendly, cheerful, and peaceful.  This pair stand 12 inches high including the wooden stands.
