19^th C. BURMESE TAI YAI BUDDHA

 This is a very large, impressive and distinctive piece.  Standing 39” tall, it is teak with much inlaid mercury glass.  The glass of the base is less colorful than pictured; this is an artifact of the lighting.  Condition is excellent, with only a small amount of loss of the original glass.  This is a powerful Buddha, that deserves a large elevated space, which it will command.  $4750
