17TH C. LAOTIAN BUDDHA

This buddha has a very, very deep dark patina, almost black, which made it very hard to photograph.  I have necessarily lightened it slightly to show the detail.  Patina like this is very unusual, both in color and depth.  It stands 15 inches high.  There is a very old nick on the cheek; otherwise condition is excellent.  A very unusual piece.
