20TH C. BURMESE HSUN OK

This is another piece that is part of a shipment sent to me to transship by a colleague in Thailand. The customer did not follow through, so I am now letting the piece go for an extremely low price.  The hsun ok is an ornamental offering dish for food for special occasions or for the temple.  It stands 20 inches tall, and opens to hold the food to be offered. This piece is of recent manufacture.  They are all handmade, with many. many coats of lacquer.  Very decorative, and actually usuable.
