18TH -19TH C. BRONZE SUKHOTHAI STYLE BUDDHA HAND

This hand is in vitarka mudra, which is the gesture of explaining the Buddha's teachings.  It is in the flowing Sukhothai style, although from a later period.  It is a large, heavy piece, standing 12 inches high, 17 1/2 inches with the stand. Lovely even brown patina; graceful casting.  No damage or condition problems.  $950
