HUGE 19TH C. BURMESE HSUN OK

This is another piece that is part of a shipment sent to me to transship by a colleague in Thailand. The customer did not follow through, so I am now letting the piece go for an extremely low price.  It stands a full 36 inches tall, and opens for food to be offered to the temple.  It has a hintha bird on top, the legendary royal bird symbolizing prosperity, loyalty, and good luck.  You rarely find a piece where the bird is intact such as this.  This piece is old, but has been relacquered. It has bits of old mercury glass as decoration.  A large and commanding piece.
