18TH - 19TH C. LAOTIAN BUDDHA

This buddha has terrific energy, which flows from the carved fluted base to the elaborate finial.  Although I have seen similar features in other Laotian buddhas, I have not seen a piece in which all of them are so effectively combined to contribute the overall impression.  He stands 15.5 inches high, with a brown/gray patina.  Condition is excellent.  $2000
