20TH C. SCROLL PAINTING - WU SHIXIAN LANDSCAPE

This very large painting hung in the center of my living room in my old apartment for many years.  Wu Shixian (1845-1916) was a well known painter whose  work periodically appears in various auction houses.  Most recently these are prices for his work:

This is a very large work, with the painting itself measuring 52 1/2 x 26 inches.  I went to Christies, and they would put a $3000-$5000 estimate on it.  Because of their high fees and commission, it is easier and faster to sell it here, at a lower price.
