LARGE 18TH C. BRONZE SHAN BUDDHA

 This is rather large for this type of image, 14” (35cm) tall.  The form puts it as earlier in the Shan period rather than later.  It has a lovely light green patina, with some reddish (cuprite) areas.  There is some chewing at the bottom of the base, other features are quite good.  The bronze is finely inscribed in places;  difficult to see from this picture.  Ask for close ups if interested.   $2100
